The National Ballet Company cannot thank the members of the Friends of the National Ballet enough for the tremendous support we have received during this difficult time in our lives. The dedication shown for the work we do is most appreciated by all of us. Nutcracker was not only an artistic success but showed the power of the many volunteers who made the audience feel welcome and the children backstage secure and comfortable on stage.
The leadership of the FNB is solid and working hard to help the NBC and NBS to become stronger and more in touch with our community. We sincerely hope that the NBC and NBS will continue to deserve your support.

From The President of the FNB
I wanted to extend a heart felt thanks to all of our FNB supporters who did so much to make this year's Nutcracker a great success. It was nice seeing so many different faces contributing in a number of ways from passing out flyers to placing yard signs and answering phones. Janice and the boutique were hopping this year and the concessions stand sold out of nearly all food items. Thank you to all of the bakers who brought in the baked goods. I think Michiko's turkey wraps were the most requested item of the weekend. The Hospitality Committee raised the bar on the Sugar Plum Fairy party. Let us not forget all of the backstage workers and especially our seamstress Kathleen. I received a number of compliments from the parents who attended the preshow. The best part of being part of the support was that our performers did a fantastic job this year. Congratulations to the National Ballet Inc on an exceptionally fine week of performances. As a greeter in the lobby I heard many compliments on show. I know of more than a few young ladies and their parents that asked about ballet classes at our studio after attending our Nutcracker. Congratulations on a successful Nutcracker season!
We will look for a good time to meet again. Keep an eye out for future emails about our next Friends of the National Ballet meeting. Hopefully the next meeting will be a thank you reception for all of the Friends of the national Ballet and the cast of the Nutcracker. Timing is everything and it may get pushed into January as we have many conflicting schedules overlaying a holiday season. Thanks again to all of your support and enthusiasm.
