Founded
in 1948 by founder/director Helen Moore, the National Ballet is Maryland's
oldest professional ballet company. Known for our "...high
artistic standards and strong technique" Capital News, we
provide artistic excellence to the public at affordable prices.
Performing a wide range of ballets from the full length classics to
contemporary works, there is always something that appeals to the
individual audience member to bring artistic satisfaction to you, our most
important individual.
The National Ballet is funded in part
by the Maryland State Arts Council, Prince George's Arts Council, Target and the
United Way Campaign. It is the resident ballet company of Prince
George's Community College
